Support Our Work

It is a hallmark of the Coalition for Juvenile Justice to create progress and change in the national juvenile justice arena by:
  • Providing information on effective practices and urgent concerns, such as the disparate treatment of youth of color, trying and sentencing of youth in adult criminal court, and system change needs in detention, mental health, and many other areas.
  • Ensuring that CJJ’s constituents—the Governor-appointed State Juvenile Justice Advisory Groups and state juvenile justice stakeholders—are visible and influential in the U.S. Capitol and the news media, and among juvenile justice organizations and professionals nationwide.
  • Stimulating reforms in programs, policies and practices, as evidenced by CJJ’s new state and local partnerships aimed at reforming juvenile detention and age of jurisdiction.
The CJJ Circle of Leaders Fund is an annual individual donor campaign that provides unrestricted funds to CJJ. It was established in 2002 and has been advanced by dozens of contributors whose generous gifts have totaled more than $25,000. The Fund has also been supported by the annual charity drawing orchestrated by the CJJ National Youth Committee.

Contributions to the Fund are welcomed from all CJJ members and associates, as well as private and corporate donors who share CJJ’s vision and goals. Contributions of any amount are helpful and fully tax deductible.

Donor categories include:
  • Contributor—up to $200
  • Partner —$200-$500
  • Patron—$500 to $1,500
  • Benefactor —$1,500 or more
To donate, printout and complete the resource_101.pdf donor form (84.6K) and mail it back to:
