ACTION ALERT: HELP RESTORE JUVENILE JUSTICE FUNDING!
In a memo released earlier today, the Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) calls State Advisory Groups (SAGs) to take three key steps over the next several weeks to ensure that Senate appropriators more fully understand the value and impact of federal juvenile justice programs, and more fully understand the expectations of key constituents around these programs. This multi-stage strategy builds on our collective strengths and expertise, and is designed to communicate and reinforce our message in a number of ways, so we sincerely trust that everyone will participate.
Thank you in advance for helping CJJ and your fellow SAGs execute this simple yet potentially powerful strategy. Together, we can preserve and restore the federal supports needed to keep youth and communities safe, and to continue our efforts to make juvenile justice systems more effective!
