Every year more than a quarter million youth under the age of 18 are tried and sentenced in adult criminal court.*
The Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) has crafted a national resolution to generate widespread acceptance and increased action for change. The resolution was developed in cooperation with the American Bar Association Juvenile Justice Center, the Child Welfare League of America, the Children’s Defense Fund, the National Assembly, the National Mental Health Association and Center for Children's Law and Policy.
